The moment sailing stops being a day activity – and becomes a way of life. Over two days and one night, you’ll move beyond the basics and into the rhythm of living onboard. As you leave the coast of São Miguel, the island slowly shifts in perspective. Harbours become destinations you arrive into under your own command. Anchorages feel more remote. Time stretches differently. This experience isn’t about covering distance – it’s about settling into life at sea. You’ll take part in all aspects of sailing and onboard living: - Sail handling and trimming in changing conditions - Steering and boat balance - Navigation awareness and route planning - Anchoring or marina approaches - Shared responsibilities onboard As evening approaches, the pace softens. You’ll secure the boat for the night – either at anchor or in harbour – and experience a side of the Azores that most visitors never see. Dinner onboard, the quiet of the water, the absence of crowds – this is where the experience deepens. You wake up the next day already at sea – not arriving to the experience, but continuing within it. This is the step where sailing becomes more than a skill. It becomes a way of being. **What’s Included** Included in your booking is exclusive use of the boat for up to 6 guests, ensuring a private and comfortable experience. Also included are a welcome drink (beer or soft drink), snacks (local Azorean treats), water, fuel, skipper service, and all taxes and fees. For multi-day charters, meals and restaurant arrangements are not included and must be pre-arranged in advance
